Costa Rica
Costa Rica was two weeks of barely stopping. I covered a large portion of the west coast, Monteverde, & La Fortuna — which, between the three, kept me busy enough that I never made it to the Caribbean side.
The country is built for adventure. In two weeks, I ziplined over cloud forests, cliff jumped into waterfalls, white water rafted, rappelled down cliffs, surfed, and swam in a volcanic crater lake. I’m definitely forgetting some stuff too.
One caveat: getting around is a pain without a car. Public transportation is unreliable and slow, and a lot of the best stuff is off the beaten path. Factor that into your planning.
