Bermuda
Bermuda isn’t cheap, that’s for sure. But it’s absolutely stunning.
The color of the water in Bermuda is unlike anything even in the Caribbean- a shade of turquoise that doesn’t look real. Some of the beaches are pink. There are cliffs and rock formations that add a beautiful, wild side to a lot of spots.
The island takes under an hour to drive across end to end. And if you rent a scooter and just go (highly recommended), you can explore a large percentage of the island in just a few days.
My dad has been to Bermuda many times and knows the island inside out, and he functioned as a nice private guide when he finally brought me along. I share some of his tips plus some additional of mine (i.e. cliff jumping, which he highly discourages) in my Bermuda posts.
